An Industrial Oil Extraction Machine is a heavy-duty setup designed for large-scale oil production in oil mills, agro-based industries, and commercial processing units. These machines are built to handle bulk quantities of oil seeds such as groundnut, sunflower, mustard, sesame, cottonseed, and soybean. Unlike small domestic or kitchen oil presses, industrial machines are engineered for continuous operation with high durability, strong motors, and advanced mechanisms that ensure maximum oil recovery while maintaining quality.
The process begins with the cleaning of seeds to remove impurities, followed by cooking or conditioning for hot press methods, or maintaining a low temperature for cold press extraction. The seeds are then fed into the expeller where mechanical pressure squeezes out the oil. The extracted oil passes through filtration systems to separate any seed cake or solid particles, resulting in pure, usable oil. The leftover seed cake, which is rich in nutrients, is often used as animal feed or further processed for other applications.
Industrial oil extraction machines vary in capacity, ranging from small-scale units that process 40 to 50 kilograms per hour to large machines capable of handling several tons per day. They are usually constructed with food-grade stainless steel for parts in contact with oil and heavy-duty steel or cast iron for the frame, ensuring long life and hygiene standards. Many models are equipped with advanced features such as automatic temperature and pressure controls, overload protection, and user-friendly control panels for smooth operation.
